I hope everyone had an enjoyable spring break and was able to get a little rest and relaxation. We are now in the final stretch of the school year and time will fly over the next three months. April will be a particularly busy month as we begin course registration for next year and present our first ever NHS drama production. Continue reading for more details!
NHS Drama Production
Niverville High School presents Exit the Body – A Three Act Comedy/Mystery Play. Performances will take place on April 28 and 29 at 7:00. Tickets are $10 and available for purchase in the Office.
2022-23 Course Selection
Course selection for next year will take place from April 19-25. Our school counsellor, Deanna Wiebe, will be visiting classrooms next week to explain the selection process and review course requirements and options. The 2022-23 Student Course Guide is available on our school website under the student tab for those that want to review course offerings and descriptions. Course selection will be done electronically with Google forms and our current grade 9-11 students will receive a link to their grade specific form in their school email. Please review the planning guide with your student when they receive it next week and help determine the courses to be selected. Feel free to contact Deanna Wiebe, or myself, with any questions you may have.
Report Cards
Term 3 report cards will be issued on Monday, April 25 and can be accessed on the HSD Parent Portal. A formal parent-teacher evening will not be held but if you wish to discuss your student’s progress with any teachers, please contact them directly (by email) to schedule a phone call, Zoom, or in-person meeting at a mutually agreeable time. Staff email addresses are available on the school website under the “About” tab.
School Fees
Just a quick reminder to pay any outstanding student fees for the year. Online payments can be made by logging into the HSD Parent Portal, or cheque and cash payments may be made directly at the school office. We would really like to clear up all accounts by the end of June. Thanks so much.
