Hello NHS families,

I hope this message finds you well.  It’s hard to believe it’s May already but I’m loving the positive spring vibe in the school. Everyone’s energy level has seemed to increase and the halls have been filled with extra smiles lately.

Recent Highlights

Our spring musical was a huge success and I’d like to give a huge shout out to all those who were involved. It certainly created a sense of community as students, staff and parents came together to make it all possible. Congratulations to the cast and crew for putting on an entertaining show! Thanks also to all those who came to see the performances and showed support for our school.

Course selection for next year went smoothly and is now complete. We will now start working on our timetable for next year and then begin creating student schedules.

Just a reminder that Term 3 report cards were issued on April 24th and can be viewed on the parent portal. If you have any questions about your child’s progress in any of their courses, please contact those teachers directly via email.

Important note for all students and awareness for families:

Students should not be hanging out in the CRRC during the school day. They should be using the vending machines, bathrooms, and seating areas available at the school. The CRRC has specifically asked that students on spare not loiter in their building. We do not have the ability to supervise students away from school so we ask for their cooperation with this request. This reminder was posted in the school’s morning announcements today as well.
