Happy New Year! I hope the Christmas break brought you all some rest and relaxation. It is great to have the school filled with students again as we start 2024 and settle back into our routines. All the best to you and your family as we look forward to a year filled with interesting opportunities and positive outcomes!
Here are a few things to take note of:
Assessment Days & Semester 1 Wrap Up
Various assessments of learning will occur throughout the month of January as we mark the midway point of the school year and prepare to wrap up semester 1 classes.
Official assessment days are scheduled for January 29 – February 1. The assessment schedule is being finalized and will be sent out later this week. There will be no regular classes scheduled during these four days – students will only come to school for their scheduled assessments.
Art Show – Thursday, January 18
Our grade 11 and 12 students are excited to showcase their art work on the evening of January 18. It is a “come-and-go” event from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and we hope that you will be able to join us.
PAC is Back!
A new parent advisory council has been formed and will be meeting on the second Monday of the month at NHS. Please see attachment for more information.
